Questionable Event
?
Do different people receive reputation material based on their influence, proximity, receptivity, access, or likelihood of carrying the account forward?
The pattern is not simply choosing a trusted person to talk with about a difficult situation. The pattern is repeated routing of reputation material toward recipients whose position can reinforce, protect, validate, or redistribute the account.

Structural Observation
Within the Narcy Studies Lab framework,
Audience Selection describes a distribution mechanism that treats audiences as structurally different rather than interchangeable.
People naturally choose trusted or relevant listeners when seeking advice, safety, or emotional support.
The structure begins when recipient choice repeatedly tracks who can validate, protect, influence, or redistribute the preferred reputation account.
Audience Selection can also support Triangulation when selected recipients are used to influence, validate, pressure, or relay information between relational positions.
Not every listener carries the same structural value.
Field Guidance
Selective disclosure can be healthy when privacy, relevance, safety, or trust reasonably limits who should receive information.
Audience Selection is different.
Once the pattern becomes visible, the same kinds of recipients are repeatedly chosen because their position strengthens the reputation system. It becomes part of the Reputation structure.
