What’s happening: Pressure builds → something fires off right away.

Not traits. Not structures. Tactics. This is what you see first.

Projection

Narcy blames you for the very behavior she won’t recognize or admit in herself. The focus flips, and suddenly you're explaining yourself for something she’s actively doing.

Taking internal pressure and putting it on you.
Blame Flipping

The moment accountability shows up, it gets thrown right back at you. It’s not just denial — it’s a full reversal. Now you're defending yourself just for bringing it up.

This isn’t about fixing anything. It’s about knocking the focus off balance.

Turning the spotlight around under pressure.
Example: “So now this is my fault? Unbelievable.”
Deflection

The second things get uncomfortable, the topic moves. Fast. Clean. Confident.

(Yeah… changing the subject.)
Minimizing

What happened gets shrunk down until it barely counts. If it’s “not a big deal,” then nothing needs to be fixed.

Downplaying it until you feel ridiculous for even bringing it up.
Rage Episodes

Things escalate fast. Volume goes up. Energy spikes. The conversation gets overwhelmed — and the original issue disappears.

Turning the volume all the way up so everything else shuts down. Once the room gets loud enough, the original issue doesn’t stand a chance.

Why this matters
