Questionable Event
?
Has a person, role, relationship, or resource become increasingly difficult for the surrounding system to replace?
The pattern is not being valuable. The pattern is the system becoming unable to function without one source.

Structural Observation
Within the Narcy Studies Lab framework, Indispensability describes a structure in which knowledge, support, access, regulation, or responsibility becomes concentrated in a person, role, resource, or relationship that the surrounding system finds difficult to replace.
One expert, trusted helper, or highly reliable person may be ordinary.
The structure begins when alternatives weaken, responsibilities accumulate, and ordinary functioning increasingly depends on continued access to the same source.
Value becomes structural dependence.
Field Guidance
Expertise, trust, experience, and reliability naturally make some people especially valuable.
Indispensability is different.
Once the pattern becomes visible, “only they can” statements, responsibility concentration, replacement difficulty, and system reliance are no longer viewed as isolated signs of competence. They become part of the Supply structure.
