Questionable Event
?
Has someone's role in the story been redefined in a way that changes how the event is interpreted?
The pattern is not the person. The pattern is the role assigned to them.

Structural Observation
Within the Narcy Studies Lab framework,
Character Reassignment describes a narrative
mechanism that changes interpretation by altering a person's role
inside the story.
People may reasonably revise their impressions of one another.
The structure begins when new labels repeatedly reorganize the same
facts. The concerned person becomes unstable. The person challenged
becomes persecuted. The observer becomes the aggressor. Once the role
changes, every later action is interpreted through the new identity.
The pattern is not description.
The pattern is the assigned role changing how every action is interpreted.
Field Guidance
Healthy evaluation allows character judgments to remain connected to
specific behavior and open to revision.
Character Reassignment is different.
Once the pattern becomes visible, changing labels are no longer
viewed as isolated opinions. They become part of the Narrative
structure when role assignment repeatedly determines credibility,
responsibility, or sympathy before conduct is independently examined.
